A High Calibre Sous Chef – Fusion is required for a new concept Restaurant within a restaurant group in Pakistan. The Group is considered one of the leaders in Middle East’s best restaurants. The company consists of 5 restaurants each with their unique flavours & styles.

 

The new concept restaurant (Far eastern & Western Cuisine) seats 145 and is open for lunch and dinner six days per week.

In establishing the restaurant they plan on catering to the upper end of the market, and have chosen the location of the restaurant with this fact in mind. The restaurant will be regarded as an independent unit, with style & flair to match.

Ideally seeking a young open-minded chef, well experienced in far eastern cuisine and yet familiar with the flavours and presentation of western cuisine.

 

 

The ideal candidate should have :-

 

Experience in 5 star Hotels & Resorts or within high calibre Restaurants

Professional Background – of at least 2 years as Sous Chef in a similar role.

Excellent knowledge of current culinary trends.

Have extensive knowledge of far eastern, fusion, & western cuisine.

Available to commence work immediately

Education from an accepted Culinary Institute.

 

Position Description :-

 

Young, energetic person who is capable of organizing and running a kitchen to chef de Partie / Sous chef level.

The candidate must be a good people person, able to control, lead and train his staff to a high level of efficiency.

He must be able to write menus and recipe cards on a regularly changing basis.

He must be well versed in matters pertaining to kitchen hygiene and sanitation.

The position offers excellent opportunities to grow and develop within the Restaurant group which is committed to expansion.

 

Remuneration Package offered  :-

 

USD $Negotiable

Accommodation & relocation costs provided.

Return Airfares from point of hire at the completion of the two-year contract.

Holidays provided once a year.

Uniforms provided.
